Is Prycheck free?
Yes. The full scan is free, with every finding and the steps to close it. PryArmor adds Shield alerts and one-click fixes from $6 a month, or $49 a year, on one computer.
Can I cancel PryArmor?
Yes. Cancel any time from your console, and your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Prycheck's free scan keeps working afterwards. If you'd rather not subscribe, PryArmor Lifetime is one payment of $149 for one computer.
What is PryArmor?
PryArmor is the paid plan of Prycheck. It's the same app: paste your key and Shield alerts and one-click fixes switch on. It alerts you and helps you close access. It doesn't block attacks.
Does Prycheck send my data anywhere?
No. The app has no analytics, and findings, history and your answers stay on your device. It shows where a key is with a masked hint and never stores the key. Only subscriptions and organisation licences contact our server, to hold a seat, and they never send scan results.
Can my whole team use Prycheck?
Yes. PryArmor Team and Business give you one organisation key, an admin console with roles, and an audit log. Admins never see scan results. For more than 20 computers, see Enterprise.
Is Prycheck an antivirus?
No. Prycheck shows what AI tools can reach. It doesn't detect malware, doesn't stop leaks and can't see what apps actually do or send. Use it alongside your normal security tools.
Which platforms does it run on?
Prycheck is available now for Mac, on macOS 12 or later. Windows is coming soon.
Why does it ask for Full Disk Access on Mac?
macOS protects its privacy database, so Prycheck needs Full Disk Access to read which apps hold which permissions. You turn it on yourself, and Prycheck shows you where. Without it, the app tells you what it couldn't check.
Can Prycheck change my settings?
Scans only read. Prycheck changes something only after you click and confirm, and one-click changes come with PryArmor.
